Safer Internet Day 2021

Safer Internet Day

Safer Internet Day 2021 was celebrated on 9th February. In the UK, the theme was: An internet we trust - exploring reliability in the online world. As a school we focussed on how children can tell fact from fiction and how working together can result in an internet that we can trust.

Below is some work that was produced by the children:

Pupil Voice

“Ask your mum or dad if you can play a game online,” Moses (Reception)

“Children shouldn’t do shopping on the internet,” Seth (Reception)

We found out that some people send fake messages, and some people send true messages,” Ethan (Year 2)

“That you can't play games with strangers. They might not be who they say they are,” Finley (Year 2)

Everyone has a role to play in making the internet a better place. Please see below some useful websites that will help you support your child so that they can stay safe online and use the internet to its full potential.
