Year 3 Greek Day
As part of their history topic, Year 3 took part in an Ancient Greece day. They were invited to come dressed tunics, Spartan armour or even as a god or goddess! Zeus, Apollo, Medusa and Athena attended the day. Everyone took part in activities such as traditional Greek dancing, tasting dishes from Ancient Greece (which including dipping bread into 'wine'), designing their own Greek outfit, a mini Olympics and finally an interactive Kahoot quiz! Children were able to show off all their sticky learning so far and learn a few new facts along the way!
