Mrs Windel

My name is Mrs Windel.

I have been the Reading Recovery HLTA since September 2022. My role involves me working with children who need some additional support with their independent reading skills. I enjoy helping the children to develop their reading skills which enables them to become more confident readers. 

In my spare time, I love to visit different places with my family, including my 9 year old dog who still thinks that he is a puppy! As you can probably guess due to my role, I also enjoy reading books. I enjoy discovering new books, from picture books to adult crime novels. My favourite picture books currently are the 'Big Feelings' series of books written and illustrated by Tom Percival.
