A very warm welcome to Beechwood Primary School where I am extremely proud to be the Headteacher.

We are a happy, nurturing and successful school where all of our children are 'Safe, Ready and Respectful'.   

Throughout their time at our nursery and school, the pupils develop into considerate and responsible citizens and lifelong learners.  Above all, we want our pupils to enjoy their days at school and to experience the joys of learning so that they can be the very best that they can be. 

Beechwood is a popular school and nursery where we want our brilliant children to understand where they are going and where they have come from on their learning journey – knowing that they have the support they need to succeed at every stage.  We want them to leave us at the end of their primary career with the skills and learning characteristics to achieve their ambitions and to lead happy, successful lives. At Beechwood, we have the highest aspirations for achievements and we champion the life chances of every pupil regardless of their starting points. Ask our parents, and even several staff members, who were pupils here themselves many years ago.   

I feel so lucky to be the headteacher of this amazing school and have loved the last 8 years in the role.
