Summer term
History - WW2
Through the Summer term, the children in Year 6 will be studying World War Two. They will find out about the causes of the war and how different countries were involved throughout. Following on from this, we will look at how life changed for people during this time and also look at the different roles that men and women had and how this impacted on their lives.
Geography - Brazil
In Geography, we will be finding out about how life in Brazil is different compared to life in the UK. We will be exploring the climate, resources and food of the two places and also look at the lives of children in particular.
Science - Living Things and Their Habitats
In Science, the children will be looking at how to classify animals based on whether they are vertebrates or invertebrates. They will also be looking at classifying plants. At the end of the topic, they will be answering the question, "Could Spiderman really exist?"
